    Want to see if your child’s development is on track? Along with our community partners, we are again offering another free Developmental Screening Day. Your child’s development will be assessed in these areas: • Language • Problem Solving • Fine & Large Motor • Social (If age appropriate, there will be additional vision and hearing screens) Benefits of attending Developmental Screenings: • Celebrate your child’s development • Support your child’s school readiness skills • Provide parenting information and resources • Early detection of potential developmental delays

    Sweets for My Sweetie

    Join us for a fun evening of making Valentine treats for your child’s favorite sweetie! Children age 2 and older, accompanied by an adult, will make a variety of sweet treats to give as gifts on Valentine’s Day. Dress for mess! (If needed, snow make up class date will be February 12 5:30-6:30pm.)

    Little Movers Playgroup (2nd Wednesdays of the month)

    Little Movers is a facilitated play group for children ages 2 ½ -4 years, accompanied by an adult, that offers fun activities that promote strength, endurance, body spatial awareness, balance and coordination. Parents and other caretakers will learn about the benefits of play through movement and may also learn some new activities they can try with their kids at home. Joint venture of the Family Resource Center and Rehab Resources, Inc.

    Learn how to discipline your children without losing your cool, and without losing their love and respect. We’ll teach you how to help your children develop personal responsibility, self-control and good decision making skills. You won’t need a complicated reward or punishment system because you’ll nurture long-term relationships with your children and reinforce their innate good characters. (Classes held: Thursdays, April 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th.)
